School Development Priorities 2022-2023

Centre stage will be the development of our children’ s vocabulary. One way in which we are developing our way of teaching to reach this aim is by explicitly teaching the children to think about their thinking (called metacognition). We are also trialling innovative ways to use technology to support in pursuit of the aim to develop vocabulary as well as with our second one: we aim to give more weight to your and your children’s voice in our decision making. The boxes around the centre indicate how different areas of school life link in with these key aims.
