Year 6 Expectations

Hello all and welcome back to school, we are so excited to see you all on Tuesday 8th September. Please don’t send your child with pencil cases or water bottles, anything they need will be provided by the school.

Spelling tests are on a Friday.

To help promote positive wellbeing, Year 6 will be having yoga sessions on a Friday morning with ASM Sports.

Our PE sessions will be on a Friday afternoon.

We ask that the children arrive at school wearing their PE kit. They will not be changing at school. They will wear PE kit all day and will go home in PE kit. The PE kit is:

Boys

• Plain white t-shirt
• Plain jumper (cold weather)
• Black football shorts
• Black jogging trousers (cold weather)
• Football shirt, football socks
• Pumps or trainers
• Football boots (optional)

Girls

• Plain white t-shirt
• Plain jumper (cold weather)
• Black PE skirt or shorts
• Black jogging trousers (cold weather)
• White socks
• Pumps or trainers

Each child will be given a new water bottle. We ask that these are taken home and washed every day.

Monday – Thursday children will wear school uniform.
